National Register’s African American Sites in Georgia

Provided is the list of Georgia sites, buildings, structures, districts, and objects listed in the National Register of Historic Places under the area of significance of Black Ethnic Heritage. Note that there are additional listed resources that are significant for association with African American heritage in Georgia, but they are listed under other areas of significance.”

This list will be updated annually.

As Georgia’s state historic preservation office (SHPO), the Historic Preservation Division (HPD) administers the National Register of Historic Places program in Georgia.
